Thanks to the recent commercial investments (TESCO, Park Center, Aldi, Lidl, etc.) a commercial retail centre in Mosonmagyaróvár is being formed along Királyhidai Street (utca). As a continuation of those investments in the northern part of the road MoWinPark will be the facility for further commercial activities. The companies settling in the Park have an advantage that they will be able to attract the population of the town and its vicinity with their services effectively, which contain over 75.000 people with significant purchasing power.

Along Barátság Street (utca) there are already the sites of strong enterprises connected to the Park, (like TBG Pannonbeton, Rekultív, Wahl Hungária, Fekete T. Logisztika, Óvárbeton, Opel Autentik, etc.), which can help to develop the activities of the Park, and strengthen their position in the market.

The Division of the Zones According to Functions

There are zones for small enterprises with suitable 900-1700 m2 areas on the territory of MoWinPark, which will make it possible for the companies to be active already in other sites of the city, planning to increase their business activities, and thus flexibly solve their problems related to their needs for new premises. The zones for larger investments will give the possibility - with its huge, even more uninterrupted hectares of surfaces - to develop new manufacturing sites in Mosonmagyaróvár.

Mosonmagyaróvár has always had a much better demographic and employment rate, than the national average. In the past ten years the increase of the number of the population in the town has also been outstanding compared to both the West-Hungarian region, as well as to Győr-Moson-Sopron County. It can also be seen by the high income per capita, which exceeded the national average in 2000 and in 2004, that the purchasing power of the people living here is relatively strong.

According to the personal income tax records of APEH in 2005, the tax payers’ proportion is nearly 50%, which put Mosonmagyaróvár also ahead of other towns on the national average. At that time the citizens earned over 20 billion HUF. Mosonmagyaróvár additionally has an out-standing number of local entrepreneurs compared to other similar cities in Hungary.

Considering the company tax records in 2005 the local enterprises altogether achieved a sales income of nearly 145 billion HUF. Until the foreign proportion of the subscribed capital is over 50%, nearly two thirds of the sales were realized on the domestic market.
